NB Polar Plunge 2022

  • Killarney Lake 1605 Saint Marys Street Fredericton, NB Canada (map)

What is the Polar Plunge?

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping into icy cold waters. Plunge participants take a quick dip to raise funds for Special Olympics New Brunswick.

Jumping into icy cold water really not your thing? You can still participate and show your support by making a pledge to a braver soul. Join us and be “Freezin’ for a Reason” – Take the Plunge!

This year, we will continue to have a in person plunge (April 23rd at 11:00am-12:30pm) AND a virtual plunge. The virtual plunge can be submitted any time between April 10th-April 23rd. Post it on your social medias and tag us @SpecialOlympicsNewBrunswick on Facebook and @specialonb on Instagram and use the hashtags #PlungeNB #PolarPlungeNB or #2022PlungeNB so we can see all of you brave virtual plungers! Videos/pictures of your plunge can also be sent to bforward@specialolympics.ca
